Shoe size change frequently with children as they can grow anywhere from 3-6 sizes in the span of a year.

Here’s a few tips when it comes to shopping for new shoes with your child.

  • Thumbs width from tip of toe
  • Measure when child is Standing
  • Lace shoes correctly
  • Replace worn out laces.

Athletic shoes such as soccer shoes have started showing problems for boys ages 9-11 year old who complain about heel pain.  This suggests that placement of the cleats were the problem with weight distribution, so soccer shoes with a multi-cleat design are suggested.
